Salute the 9th Infantry

"A" Company, 4th of the 47th, 9th Infantry Division

This is a speial salute to all those I served with during my short stay in the U.S. Army 16 May 1966 to 26 August 1966 when I came home due to health reasons (Honorable Medical Discharge), as they went on to Vietnam to face a terrible attack on 19 June 1967 when they were attacked in a dealy rice paddy that killed most. I thank them all for serving our country and I pray that their souls are at peace. God spared me that day, but I wish they were all here today. My short stay at Custer Hill, Fort Riley Kansas is a memory I will always keep close to my heart.

Here is a listing by state of all the casualties of Vietnam on the Vietman Wall
