Fallen Keosek Hero

Farewell To Our Leader, Friend, Husband, Father, and Family Man

LEO DESCOTEAUX

Early Thursday morning, 28 February 2008, our Sub-Chief, Leo Descoteaux of the Koasek Abenaki Nation passed away at the Dartmouth-Hitchcook Hospital. His wife, Ruth and their children are in our prayers. He was such a kind and wonderful man. We will miss him very much and know that he is now with all his ancestral spirits.

Cards can be sent to their home at 1063 Little France Rd., Barnet, Vt. 05821

My Tribute

Sub-Chief Leo Wise Owl

Another Fallen Warrior

Has been called Home

Never more to suffer

A Hero in his day

A teacher and mentor in so many ways

He had seen many Moons in His Life

Always walking proudly

Always there to listen and support

Proud to be Who He was

And Who he had become

We must not mourn the Loss

But Celebrate His Life

A Great man has Passed

His legacy will live on
